Volunteering

We have more than 300 volunteers who help us on a regular basis and are the mainstay of our organisation. We always need more!

If you would like to :

• make new friends
• gain some experience for work or a qualification
• use skills and knowledge you have
• fill in some time after retirement

Volunteering opportunities available include:

• minibus driving
• shop work
• day care helper
• receptionist
• lunch club helper
• befriending
• research work
• helping to run activity groups and clubs
• fundraising
• assisting with promotions and campaigns
• being a trustee
• office work

Some of our volunteers like to be involved regularly, for a half or full day per week or more often. Others prefer to be involved less frequently or on an occasional 'as needed' basis.

However much time you wish to give it will be very much valued by us.
