Promoting Independence Partnership Project
The Promoting Independence Partnership Project (PIPP) is designed to put older people in contact with a wide range of services to support them in maintaining independence at home and finding new opportunities in their own communities.
Our locally-based, friendly staff can help with information on:
- Access to community services
- Housing issues
- Aids and adaptions
- Benefits advice
- Home safety and practical help available to reduce the risk of accidents and falls
- Home security
- Hire of mobility and other equipment
- Health and well-being
- .....and much more
How to use the service
- Contact PIPP directly
- Referrals can also be made (with the client's permission) via a carer, Social Worker, relative, friend, District Nurse, or other health care professional
- Home visits can be arranged, if appropriate, by appointment. (NB Our staff will NEVER visit without first making an appointment).
